Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role was Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She was a theatre student at Northwestern University and spent a semester in the British American Drama Academy. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a number of years before attempting TV and movie role. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she landed a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last decades of Walter White.
